Breed focus training
Breed specific training is offered to the experienced groomer who already has an understanding of the basic techniques to properly groom a dog.
It would be ideal to undertake this intensive training after 20 - 50 successful pet grooms.
This training is very specific to a breed of your choice (if training dogs are available) and will include actual experience on the breed of dog you wish to study.
Current and emerging breed specific techniques will be covered including the anatomy of the breed, show groom requirements, specific details of lengths, heights, contours required for a particular breed, and of course, the breed standard, from which show judges compare from.
This training is usually of a single day's length but can be customized to your requirements.
Cost of this training is $700 per day. (usually 8:30am - 4pm)
